Optimization

The key to successful optimization is to treat each site as if it were “pay for performance”.  The methodology for system optimization can vary significantly between sites, so it is important to understand both the complexity of the subsurface conditions as well as the needs of the client (i.e., mass removal vs. site specific clean up criteria).  SCG Industries has the experience and knowledge to effectively optimize remediation systems.

5 Wing Goose Bay
Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador

SCG Industries has designed, installed and is currently operating numerous remediation units for a large scale remediation project at 5 Wing Goose Bay. SCG is using multiphase extraction (MPE) technologies to extract and treat various petroleum hydrocarbons, including aviation gas, diesel, gasoline, and fuel oil.

SCG has been successfully operating extraction units in Goose Bay since 2008 despite the unique and challenging aspects of working in this type of geology (5 Wing is located on a large sand deposit) and the harsh climate of this northern environment.
